ABSTRACT
A very convenient standard of density is pure air-free water of known isotopic content. Recent redeterminations of the density of water have been made by Patterson and Morris of the Australian CSIRO National Measurement Laboratory, by Watanabe of the National Research Laboratory of Metrology of Japan, and by Takenaka and Masui of the National Research Laboratory of Japan.
