ABSTRACT
Three-phase systems involving gas, liquid (droplet), and solid phases arise in various engineering and scientific applications. Some examples include droplets impinging on a wet iced aircraft surface, spray deposition of solidified droplets in manufacturing processes, and combustion of liquid droplets with particles in combustion chambers. In this chapter, heat transfer in three-phase systems will be examined.
