ABSTRACT

Although many aspects of modelling binary data have been considered in the previous chapters, there remain a number of topics that are either peripheral to, or beyond the scope of, this intermediate text. For completeness, some are outlined in this chapter, and references are provided to enable the interested reader to obtain further information on them. However, a full review of the literature on these additional topics will not be attempted; additional references will of course be found in the monographs and articles that are referred to. Two particular monographs that include a more advanced treatment of many of the techniques described in this book are Cox and Snell (1989) and McCullagh and Nelder (1989); these texts contain much material that can be used as a springboard for further research.
