ABSTRACT
Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. (EES) is a Johnson & Johnson company that develops and markets a broad portfolio of advanced innovative, procedureenabling devices for less invasive and traditional general and thoracic surgery, breast disease, gynecology, oncology, and urology. Larry Spreckelmeier heads the human factors efforts at EES. Trained as an industrial designer, Larry addresses human factors with the help of a number of in-house resources and outside consultants.
