ABSTRACT
Preparing for the audit involves arranging the details of the audit, developing the audit plan, identifying what will be exam ined, and comm unicating with the auditee. Preparing for the first audit of a particular type and area (e.g., a GMP operations audit of a warehouse, a focused audit on deviations) is the most time-consuming, as you will need to develop checklists and other auditing tools. Once they are created, they can then be repeatedly used with only slight revisions and updates.
