User requirements define the product’s intended purpose, by describing the intended use; the intended users; the intended en vironment of use; and the user’s needs, wants, and preferences for product safety and effectiveness. User requirements are stated in
the user’s language, and describe the minimum clinical safety and performance expectations of the product user.
