ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will illustrate the use of R built-in functions to perform several types of analyses of variance presented in the previous chapter, as well as regression analysis for situations when continuous variables (e.g., age) rather than factors (e.g., disease status) potentially explain the variability in the measured outcome of an experiment (e.g., gene expression).
