ABSTRACT
After describing the embryology and anatomy of the platysma and the various subcutaneous sliding systems, we will discuss the surgical technique of platysma suspension and platysmapexy during the neck lift. We will then detail the use of botulinum toxin injection in this indication in the preoperative procedure.
