ABSTRACT

Combination procedures are common in esthetic surgery due to the general understanding that the aging process affects all facial components: skin, muscles, and subcutaneous fat tissue. The combination of surgery with laser resurfacing, fat injections, and chemical peels has become common.1-3 Chemical peels have been used for over a century, and have gained in popularity over recent decades. Historically, dermatologists have played a crucial role in the development of this procedure.4 Chemical peels are one of the most powerful rejuvenation procedures. A combination of peels with botulinum toxin A injections is logical since it addresses more comprehensively the causes of facial wrinkling and aging. This combination makes it possible to create a significant rejuvenation effect with no invasive procedure.
