ABSTRACT

For example, in the crow’s feet region, we can distinguish ‘coarse wrinkles’, the structure of which has been documented by Pierard and Lapiere,3 fine wrinkles which disappear with simple transverse distortion, and ‘facial lines’ depending mainly on hydration of the stratum corneum. These facial lines have been largely discussed by Packman and Gans, who also proposed a scoring system to evaluate their number and importance.4
