ABSTRACT

Students carry on calculations for their homework, for the interpretation of laboratory experiments, for projects. Engineers perform calculations for design projects. All this work must be presented in reports. Scientists make calculations during their research; they want to publish them. More and more students, engineers and scientists want to show their work also in presentations, such as by Microsoft PowerPoint. Once it was necessary to write again the equations used and the results obtained. This means additional work and a potential source of errors. Today MATLAB provides several possibilities for preparing reports and articles without the need of writing again the work done while calculating. In this chapter we are going to show only the simplest ways of exporting to reports, articles and presentations; they are sufficient for the level and extent of work covered by this book.
