ABSTRACT
In Chapter 2, the nucleation phase was modeled as a function of addition rate, Ra, maximum growth rate, Gm, critical crystal size, Ln, and nucleation efficiency, Fn. The results provided information for these factors on the course of the nucleation rate and supersaturation, and on the size distribution, maximum crystal size, and number of crystals.
