ABSTRACT

The title of this chapter, Systems Specifications, might sound boring to the aver-

age engineer. Why not let the administrators and bean counters worry about that.

Granted, it is usually not the type of thing that an engineer wants to spend their

entire work week on, assuming that they have the option to be designing a

machine as an alternative; but let us see how it does impact the engineer, perhaps

more than one could ever imagine.
