ABSTRACT
The straightforward objective of this chapter is to demonstrate how aerosolized drugs can be targeted to relatively well-defined regions within the human respiratory tract by merely understanding the relative roles of the various factors affecting the airborne motion and subsequent deposition of inhaled particles.
