ABSTRACT
Discriminant analysis, a multivariate statistical technique, assigns subjects (cases, observations) to predetermined groups or categories. The main purpose of discriminant analysis is to predict membership in two or more mutually exclusive predetermined nominal group levels from a set of numerical predictors.
