ABSTRACT
Table 9.1lists some categories of neurotoxic food contaminants. The present chapter will focus on the neurotoxicology of the second group, the organic substances. For polyhalogenated biphenyls and related compounds, extensive experimental and epidemiological neurotoxic research has been carried out. Therefore the present chapter will focus on the neurotoxicity of these chemicals.
