ABSTRACT

The nature of business defines everything else. All strategies, and business processes are dependent on this. Largely products and services are traded online between multiple entities. Information is power, and knowledge a still greater power. Knowledge is a byproduct of information and data. Mountainous volumes of data exist online. Information derived is much smaller in quantity than its source data, and information, when refined, produces knowledge which is far less in quantity than information. The increasing vast and voluminous information fragmentation online has necessitated the development of information brokerage. Transparency and interoperability over the network in the virtual world allows all stakeholders to access multiple systems without knowing the related technical intricacies. Transparency is needed to hide the underlying issues of the physical media working and network interconnection and traffic. A major concern is the quality of products, even for services rendered in Web-based outsourcing.
