ABSTRACT
The most common primary renal tumor is renal cell carcinoma (RCC), with transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) of the upper urinary tract being much less common. In this chapter the imaging diagnosis and staging of these tumors is discussed, with emphasis on the essential role of imaging in the preoperative evaluation of patients.
