ABSTRACT
Radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy affect all tissues of the thorax. The evidence of these effects and the timing of their appearance vary from organ to organ. Radiation change is almost always seen in the lungs within weeks of completion of therapy. It is usually far less obvious in bone and takes years to be seen on conventional radiographs.
