ABSTRACT

Continuous-flow operative hysteroscopic metroplasty has replaced the traditional approach. With the hysteroscopic approach, the uterine musculature is not excised or traumatized. This allows a shorter recovery time and conception within 2 months after the procedure, and the patient can safely deliver vaginally. Similarly to abdominal metroplasty, term delivery rates after hysteroscopic metroplasty are approximately 80%, with a miscarriage rate of approximately 15%.
