Peroxovanadium(V) complexes (pVs) display insulin mimetic effect in vivo. By synthesizing some pVs, we have studied the decomposition process precisely. As a result, active oxygen species were generated during the decomposition of pVs. In this chapter, we report the formation of active oxygen species produced during the decomposition of pVs.
