ABSTRACT
Th ere are several other virtualization technologies to be aware of. Th ese products and projects touch on the new wave of virtualization technologies that could be taking hold over the next two or three years. Th is chapter looks at the other commercial products available in the virtualization platform space and the open source eff orts to provide virtualization platforms. Each product or project has its own unique combination of strengths and weaknesses. Th is chapter will explain what each product does and what capabilities it provides.
