ABSTRACT
The influence of the magnetic field on the breakdown voltage of non-polymerforming gases such as He, Ar, N2, and O is rather complex and is not as pronounced
as for polymer-forming gases [14]. The latter trend is due partly to the fact that the breakdown voltages of inert gases are much lower than those for organic monomers, and further decrease of the breakdown voltage is marginal.
