Eventual widespread technological application of fiber brushes requires several hurdles to be overcome, as was already briefly discussed in Sect. 20.1. Specifically, it will depend on the following, most important capabilities:
1. Continuous wear of brushes through essentially arbitrary lengths, assuring long life.
