Pubovaginal/transvaginal slings have become the gold standard for the treatment of all types of female stress urinary incontinence, whether the stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is secondary to

intrinsic sphincter deficiency (ISD) or hypermobility of the urethra (1). The author’s sling

procedure of choice is the cadaveric transvaginal sling procedure (CATS).
