ABSTRACT
W ATER and Wastewater treatment facilities are usually owned, operated, and managed by the community (the municipality) where they are located. While many of these facilities are privately owned, the majority of Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) and Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) are Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTWs).
