ABSTRACT

Fire loss control programs are specifically focused efforts aimed at reducing the risk of loss, the magnitude of potential losses, and the impact of those losses on continuing operations. They are based on the accurate assumption that it is more effective and ultimately less costly to manage the loss potential of an operation prior to a loss rather than deal with the impact after a loss has occurred.
