ABSTRACT
Leadership is a complex phenomenon involving the leader, the follower, and the situation (Figure 20.1). Some leadership researchers have focused on the personalities, physical traits, or behaviors of leaders; still others have studied the relationship between leaders and followers. I will attempt to demonstrate the traits needed to be a successful security leader.
