ABSTRACT
Congenital heart disease (CHD) refers to all morphological anomalies of the heart and large blood vessels present at birth. A CHD may manifest itself clinically at any time during one’s life. Cardiomyopathies and arrhythmias without structural changes are not classified as CHD.
