ABSTRACT

Advances in analytical chemistry during the past quarter century are making available ever-increasing amounts of information on the biological and toxicological effects of trace metals . Significant progress has been made in the procedures used to collect and prepare biological tissues and fluids for trace elements analysis (Katz, l985a), and major advances have been made in the techniques for the determination of trace elements in biological tissues
