ABSTRACT
A. Introduction Up to this point, Managing Global Development Risk has reviewed overall trends and developments of the global sourcing market in addition to defining the core skills required of global development managers (GDMs). We have also reviewed the methodologies and process used for software development including Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model (SEI CMM), International Standards Organization (ISO), and Six Sigma, while calling out those unique dimensions that need to be addressed to successfully manage global development projects.
