ABSTRACT
Simmons (1991) details the many factors that dominate software group productivity. He defines dominator as a single factor that causes productivity to decline tenfold. The two dominators discussed are communications and design partition. What follows is a set of rules and statistics that the reader can use as a comparison in his or her own efforts to increase productivity.
