ABSTRACT
Fusarium species are widely distributed –lamentous fungi that commonly occur in soil, water environments, and plants. The genus includes both plant pathogenic and soil saprophytic representatives.1 During the past decades, Fusarium species have emerged as increasingly important causal agents for opportunistic infections in human population.2
