An emerging technology platform, often referred to as automatic classification systems or Corporate Portal Categorization Solutions (CPCS), has matured as an application category in the past 12 to 18 months. A CPCS uses a tool to
automatically
organize the subject categories of the institutional memory of an enterprise, and consequently permit the navigation of the resulting knowledge landscapes with relative ease.
