The compression-combined encryption process can be described by Figure 6.2. Let A and B be the set of source data and compressed data, respectively, and they satisfy A = {P0, P1, …, PN-1} and B = {C0, C1, …, CN-1}. Here, Pi is the ith plainmedia (i = 0, 1, …, N - 1), Ci is the ith cipher-media, and Pi is compressed into Ci. That is, the following condition is satisfied.
