ABSTRACT

New technologies such as ePaper, of which iLiad1 is one example, make reading and writing similar to using a notepad. When laptops eventually become really light and portable and have suffi cient battery power-and assuming they have stable and user-friendly so ware-then electronic books will have a massive and widespread hardware platform on which to base their market. Other advantages of eBooks that will be important once the hardware problem is overcome, are the searching capabilities and the ability to store a complete library on a single device.
