ABSTRACT
The use of packaging in the food supply chain is very important and is an essential part of food processing. It can be used for various purposes such as the assurance of protection of food from external infections (microorganisms), surrounding conditions (like atmosphere gases, water activity, etc.), and the appropriate labeling of foods (La Storia et al., 2008).
