ABSTRACT
The skull base regions are composed of complex tissue structures that give rise to histogenetically and biologically heterogeneous neoplasms of ectodermal, endodermal, and mesodermal origins. Themorphologic andhistogenetic differences are complicated by overlapping features and frequently pose diagnostic difficulties.
