ABSTRACT
In this chapter we review some basic concepts about quality of service (QoS) and the different services and configurations through the different technologies already discussed in the previous chapters. Having explained LAN and WAN network design in the previous chapters, this chapter explains the QoS configuration scheme for IP convergent applications to function appropriately. Applications and applications requirements will be discussed in Chapter 5.
