ABSTRACT
Of all the psychiatric syndromes to occur in
AD, depression is the most common.
However, it has proven difficult to establish
just how common depression is, almost
certainly because of the obvious difficulty in
deciding how to assess altered mood in an
individual with cognitive deficits. This
problem is not restricted to academic studies.
