ABSTRACT
Introduction The material in the previous chapters is basic to all further study of differential equations. The topic of this chapter, stability, is certainly fundamental, but our emphasis and comparatively lengthy treatment are partly motivated by applications to problems in the physical world, especially biological problems. To some extent, by placing a strong emphasis on stability, we are choosing now a particular path in our study of differential equations.
