ABSTRACT
Waage, Peter (1833-1900) Norwegian chemist Waage (vaw-ge), who was born at Flekkefjord in Norway, became professor of chemistry at the University of Christiania (now Oslo) in 1862, remaining there until 1900. He is remembered for his collaboration with his brother-in-law, Cato GULDBERG, for their discovery of the law of mass action in 1864.
