ABSTRACT
Now we are going to discuss an issue of great importance as it directly affects the life of concrete structures: the design and construction specifications that should be followed in different codes to avoid corrosion of the steel reinforcement in concrete. If we want to construct a new building, we put a lot of effort into solving problems of and paying money for construction. Thus, we must take extreme care to preserve this investment or we will find ourselves having to put more effort and money into maintaining it.
