ABSTRACT
Some of the most important challenges concerning brakes are noise, vibrations, and harshness (NVH); considerable eµort was made in the last two decades to determine the origin, the mechanism of transmission, and damping of brake acoustic waves. ˜e analysis of brake noise and vibration is the Ÿrst step to understand this phenomenon and Ÿnd adequate solutions.
