ABSTRACT
Antifungal therapy has undergone a tremendous development over the last two
decades. Three major classes of antifungals are now available, with different
mechanisms of action, different spectrum of activity, specific pharmacokinetic
parameters, individual toxicity profiles, and variable routes of administration
(Table 1).
