Safety professionals are usually responsible for conducting and/or managing the emergency and disaster preparedness training function in their organizations and companies. This important function is often
back burnered
by many safety professionals in anticipation that they can rely on videotape or other audiovisual aids. This tact is absolutely wrong and often results in a wasted opportunity, and can send the wrong unspoken message to your employees and management team members regarding emergency and disaster preparedness.
