ABSTRACT

So far, the more interesting applications of the theory developed in the previous chapter have not been to noncommutative manifolds but to families (Yn)n of varieties in which the role of Quillen-smooth algebras is replaced by Cayley-smooth algebras and where the sum-maps are replaced by gluing into a larger space. In this chapter we give the details of Ginzburg’s coadjointorbit result for Calogero-Moser phase space, which was the first instance of such a situation.
