ABSTRACT
Technological advances have permitted scientists to monitor simultaneously thousands of genes and proteins under different experimental conditions or across different tissue types. This offers the opportunity for a systematic genome-and proteome-wide approach to understand function and regulatory mechanisms in cellular signaling pathways, or gain insight in diverse disease mechanisms.
