ABSTRACT
Most particle counters provide diagnostic signals and alarms. In many cases, particle counters are used in conjunction with other instrumentation, and most can accept signals from these instruments to be trended along with the particle counter data. Flow control is also critical, and several methods are provided to achieve accurate flow control. In some cases, flow alarms can be signaled by the particle counter via the computer data collection system.
