ABSTRACT

Since advanced digital cameras were introduced in the 1990s, these devices have developed quickly and are increasingly used as part of advanced imaging systems in a variety of medical and other applications. To reduce the inuence of specular reections of the ash in the surface of the object, a crosspolarization lter technique is frequently used [4]. A photo is captured through red, green, and blue lters attached to the camera photodetector array, and the corresponding color photo-combined from the three color planes-is stored electronically in the camera memory.
